2025 Goodyear Auto Care Skid City Pro Wrap-up and Results
With the 2025 Goodyear Auto Care Skid City Pro now in the books the first thing the team at Skid City want to say is thank you!
Thank you to those who performed all the amazing burnouts, thank you to those who helped organise the event like our sponsors,
Liam and Sarah from Goodyear Auto Care Swan Hill and Craig from Long Boost Performance Parts. Our accommodation partner BIG4 Swan Hill, Sammy Damage from Wilful Damage – Lifestyle Clothing and Custom Merchandise Specialist, Burnout Masters, who put two masters tickets up for grabs, Heath Madgwick from Strathmerton Drilling & Engineering who was also a major part of the Skid City “Street Warfare” series, Justin from JJ Performance who was working at 2am on the morning to get his car ready for the Pro and our local mechanical workshop, Joel from Healey Automotive, and also thanks also to our media guys, Michelle Porobic from BrightDesign.com.au, for the images and Andy Frith for all the drone work on the day. If you head over to our Facebook page you will see some of that drone footage as we will releasing it there free to view! Most of all, thank you to the members of the community that came out to watch the event. Without everyone who attended, it wouldn’t have been anywhere near as amazing of a day. Thanks everyone, on behalf of Alec Berias and Mark Humphrey.

With the thanks out of the way, let’s talk Rubber! What an incredible event and turnout we had. It would be an understatement to say we didn’t expect such an awesome turn out, considering this is our first event at the Swan Hill Motorplex that was open to the public. Not only did we manage to fill out all our entry positions for performers, but we also had about 1000 people on the sidelines watching, getting to enjoy some absolutely world class skids. Everyone who competed was in the running for a multitude of prizes. From 2 tickets into the Burnout Masters and a share of over $20,000 of prize money, we saw the absolute best of the best battle it out. In the end with there only being 25 points between 1st and 10th place, it was a very hard fought battle on the Skid City dance pad! Overall our top 10 scorers of the day are as follows;

10th. KING671
9th. FREYM
8th. SLAPD8
7th. NGHTMRE
6th. 4DH8TRS
5th. MRCHOW
4th. HONCHO
3rd. SPASTIC
2nd. YATESZ
1st. SKDUTE
For a full break down of the scores please see below. Please note, it was based on best individual performance from the two rounds, not total overall. Highest scores from each driver are highlighted yellow

Beyond all this though we also had best cars in their respective categories, with MADDAN taking out Best 6cyl, MRCHOW taking out Best NA V8 and Top Blown going to our overall winner SKDUTE. Who, already qualified for the Burnanza Burnout Masters Grand Final, meaning both Yatesz and Spastic, end up winning those two tickets on offer. The total of points scored came to 23907.5, which means between all of our performances, the average skid was 192.8 points. Meaning the as a whole the group not only nearly averaged an absolutely insane score of 200, but the average skid was only 70 points away, showing how close this event truly was. As a quick fun fact we also had a total of 3 performers with SKD in their number plate being the second most common with FRY being the most popular at 4 different skidders. 5 if you want to include WASFRIED.
With it all said and done, not only did the drivers absolutely kill it on the dance pad (along with who knows how many tyres), but so did you the community. Once again, we can not thank you all enough for all the support! It has been absolutely unreal for our first event to have gone as well as it did and we can not wait for you to join us again in future! Thank you all so much from the team at Skid City!
P.S There are still some left over bits of merch that will be up on the site in the coming days, so get them while you can!
